My thoughts:

ibotta is an awesome app, hands down. The list of pros heavily outweighs the cons. I have used this app for a long time whenever I set foot into a grocery store.

Some of the great things about ibotta are that you can work together with people on your "team" to reach a sort of savings goal and have a potentially larger payout if you reach the goal. The app also has TONS of different things you can save money on and even make money on if you watch a little ad or take a survey sometimes.

The app does require you to reach a minimum of $20 before you can cash out but this isn't a big deal. When I showed my mom this app she went crazy and has already cashed out over $120 dollars!

The only thing that is slightly lame about the app is that most (if not all) of the items that they reward you for purchasing are on the app because the brand is paying ibotta to advertise them to you. So, most times you won't be able to buy off brands and still save. BUT this is not a problem either. I have found that if you plan ahead and pair ibotta with a couple other shopping apps, like Receipt Hog, you can still save a ton of money.

Right now ibotta has 4.5 stars out of 5 on Google Play and a 4.5 out of 5 on Apple App Store as well.
